Our Functional Learning Center class at Blackland Prairie Elementary recently participated in a Silly Spring Day activity. To encourage independent speech and the use of assistive technology, students utilized their communication devices to select adjectives and nouns for a collaborative story. This hands-on lesson allowed students to explore the outdoors while practicing essential literacy and communication skills in a fun, inclusive environment.
