This year we will be doing four No Place for Hate Activities. The first one is called Diversity Quilt. Each student received a small “patch” of paper to contribute to a large “diversity quilt.” Union Hill families, please work together with your kids to decorate your paper to represent your heritage/culture. Students will share their “patches” with their homeroom class and tell about their design.
Feel free to talk to your students about inclusion, and celebrating diversity.
We will put all of the patches together to make a school Diversity Quilt. This Diversity Quilt will be displayed in our main hall.
Please send your paper with your child no later than Thursday, November 10.
